Hi, I'm Alex — I design circuit boards in my spare room.

By day I'm an embedded software engineer. By night the soldering iron comes out and I work through whatever idea has been nagging at me — usually something involving an STM32, an RP2040 or a power supply that I probably shouldn't have bought off eBay.

This site is where I document those builds in enough detail that you could reproduce them. Schematics, layout decisions, the mistakes, and the fixes. When a board turns out well, I order a small batch and put it in the shop so you can skip straight to the fun part.

Everything is open where I can make it open. Questions and corrections are always welcome.
